I've still been very busy, but in an effort to update my few followers, here's your journal for this month!

Since last month, I did quite a few things. Most were tough but fun things like finishing my goal of hiking 16 mountains this year or running a marathon. At the very least, I've been seeing some exciting places and keeping in shape. I also ran the marathon about 30 minutes faster than my previous very slow time. Hopefully if I do more of them, I can keep beating my PR. While hiking, I got to see some amazing fall colors and some of the first fall snows.

Unfortunately, my grandpa also passed away. He was in a plane crash around 25 years ago, so his body had been very damaged for a long time, but in the last few years, his health and mobility declined sharply. I feel like I never knew him at his best before the crash, but he was still a great man even after it. I'll miss him, but I feel like he has been freed from a lot of suffering.

Right now, I'm still feeling a little burnt out after being busy for so many weekends in a row, but I feel like my motivation for writing and art is returning. Now if I can just get focused and start something, I should finally be able to put out some content for all of you.
