I saw someone do a poll on DA about something like this and as I am very interested in this sort of thing, I thought it'd be fun to ask something similar. Here's the scenario. Read it and just answer the question with your opinion XD
So you walk into a shop that sells useful things; things that you actually are interested in buying or could actually use. The shop keeper is an old, withered man and he has a weathered look that says he has seen just too much in his time on this earth. He addresses you as you browse and warns you that everything in this shop is cursed or haunted in some way and that you have the right to know as much before buying anything.
Would you still buy? If so, why?
or
Would you run? if so, why?
or
would you make another decision? if so, what would you do?
I don't believe in curses or hauntings, but if the vendor himself is warning me that his products are risky, I think I'll take his word for it and shop elsewhere. I would definitely have to ask for more information, though. Hopefully, he'd be more forthcoming than retired sergeants major of bibulous habits...

I would spend sometime talking to the old man and about his items. Then depending on the stories he tells I'd either buy something that has a not so bad curse or tip him for the stories he shared.
