Hey everyone,

I've been quite quiet lately. Loads of things have been happening, but recent events have inspired me to write another journal again.

My cousin (27yo) got hit by a car and passed away two days ago. I heard it yesterday morning. This really puts everything in perspective. This is the fourth funeral coming up in just two years plus losing some pets, so things keep stacking up. Plus my stay in Birmingham ended on quite a sour note and the figurative knife in my back.
Life goes on, so will I. But this did result in less art from me.

Luckily, when things in Birmingham went awry, I was introduced to Steven Universe and that's kept me afloat there. (: Much thanks to Rebecca Sugar and her Crewniverse!

Aside from these sad notes, things are going their course. My girlfriend and I have been engaged for half a year now and we're doing perfectly fine. The pets are doing fine, my pony keeps amazing me. The goat we have, Nina, invited herself on the walk Freedom and I had, so that's fun.
I'm doing more commissions and some art pieces for a convention.

And the best news of all: my pet rocks will join an exhibit at my university! Time to feel like an important artist haha. Nah, I'm still just me.
