We're only here on this site because FA's source code shit the bed with it being brought out in the open. I keep seeing "sorry I've never been around! alongside an ocean of apologies when almost no one gave a damn about this site until we were forced to. Hell, I'm in the same boat. It seems so far to be at least decently run, especially compared to FA, but it was always empty as a graveyard. Perhaps we can change that by actually sticking around instead of crawling back to FA, which is likely to be hacked again very soon since you can almost guarantee not everything has been fixed yet.

Yeah, cant trust FA anymore with my personal security, just deactivated my account today lol. Though who knows how safe it is due to a lack of 'Delete Account'
Though, the main reason people are even going back is because they either have a huge clientele and its one of their major sources of income. And switching sites will definitely lose them some serious money.
Another reason would be...well, time/effort put into a profile I suppose?
Idk, this was MY final straw. So i'm here to stay.-
Trust me, no "delete account" button unnerves me to know end as well. Of course, the reason they don't have one is because events like this have happened in the past (though not quite to this scale) and yet people still keep drifting back. I've done it myself, I'm ashamed to admit. This time I'm sticking to my guns, though. Simply having the site down due to a hack is an inconvenience, but losing people's emails and passwords to hackers is a dangerous security risk.

Unfortunately that is often the case.
But we have some regulars, myself included~
I do feel pretty bad for everyone locked out of their FA accounts. Hopefully they manage to get access back whether or not the decide to stay.
