As much as I didn't want to do this, me and the husband are in a sort of frustrating situation that has made quite a bit of a financial bump in the road.
To explain, we changed banks, which normally is a bit of a hassle but not a big deal. We've had to do it before when a long time company we banked with closed. As far as things go, the bank isn't really the problem. My husband put in to have the bank switched over with payroll with his employer. This is where the problem happened. Somehow they got mixed up and removed his bank of choice from his file and put in to send out paper checks in the mail. Again, no big deal usually, just inconvenient. Well something has gotten jammed up in processing and he was informed today it could take up to two weeks for everything to go through and for him to receive his checks properly. "Sorry for the inconvenience." This is a little more than an 'inconvenience' when bills need to be paid.

We have a little bit of padding from money saved back but two weeks is a long time to not have an income and that padding isn't much help...
