Rules about using Screenshots on here... +Rant+ by Sapphirus
The rule sucks and it's stupid you can't use them in your art for non-monetary use....not even Furaffinity and DA has that rule.....

Was a doodle I made, with mini screenshots off a game as pics in the BG for laughs. MMORPG games dont care about things like that, bleh.

Ahh didn't realize that. I see that done everywhere, especially on FB/groups a lot. Didn't think it was such a serious thing.

When do FB groups not commit plagiarism, or re-post DNP works? I've even found my own stuff in FB groups, and had to fight to get it taken down. Unfortunately for us, the only "fair use" is when you chop up something SO badly, that it's unrecognizable. I think Garry's Mod is the only thing that doesn't violate copyright laws, since everyone can upload to it.

Yeah, normal reporting on there is useless, there was groups bashing ppls OCs/characters, even some of my adopts and designs was on there too. I had to special email FB staff to get it taken down, kinda sucks you gotta go through that. Garry's mod, i seen many vids of those and was wondering that myself.

Screen shots with art added are more or less plagiarism. Which is what they're fighting. Using someone else's intellectual property, even if it's not for monetary gain, can still get you sued. I know it sounds unfair, but it's for our own good, and for the good of the site. If they allowed us to do it, they could be sued as well.
