Ok, big flood going on as y'all know, but what are sketchcards?

These were an idea i came up with around 2001, and put into play at Anthrocon 2002 and re-used at Califur 2007. In previous cons, the number of sketches i could get was limited by how fast i could get them done as i only had one book. Sure, i could have more than one book, but its a bit of a pain to have your collection spread around like that. Then there was the stories of the occasional book loss either by owner or artist, and it seemed to me there had to be a better way.

So, i circulate index cards, blank side for the pic, lined side for artist info so i can share it with them and everyone else. A card gets lost, we just give the artist another. Its basically a collection of loose pages, that protects from book loss, and allows me to hit every artist i want the first day of the con, rather than spreading the visits out over the days and risking running out of time.

The finished cards can be laminated, framed, put in a photo album, or in my case, a flip display photo holder (but i do need a cover page for this ifn anyone wants to help me out with one).
