Easter-Wonder Con-NOT THIS AGAIN... by Skunkman001

Hi!

Ok...First off Happy Easter to everyone out there!

Second...WonderCon was nice did get a few shots in.

Third...

Computer wouldn't boot on me Friday night...BUT I found the culprit!
It was a Windows 7 update....
So after WonderCon til now I had to redo the whole OS Drive...any updates for Windows in the month of March I didn't install.
So I hope this doesn't happen again...or I'm going have to update to Win 10....

    Make sure your first update is via the WSUS Offline Update tool, or you'll run into problems.

      Never heard of that one before....
      Plus I've hide all of the March updates for Windows...hopefully this solves the problem.

        WSUS Offline Update lets you one-shot all the updates onto a DVD. Works very well.

        I say this because Windows Update got an update for Win7, and you'll have to update that first or offline-update it.

        There's also a GWX Control Panel that you can get that'll block all efforts to slap Win10 on your PC.
