I don't particularly plan on leaving FA, although I do believe what happened should not be written off as mere drama and the admins definitely dropped the ball in the way they handled the situation. Until I experience or am more privy to a similar matter, I'll probably be sticking around FA. Though, I will be keeping an eye out for my friends and myself.

In regards to Weasyl, I do believe it to be a superior site as far as layout and features go, but FA casts a big enough shadow from its age alone to squander any hope that it might be surpassed. In any case, I've chased as many artists as I can over to Weasyl. As more and more Weasyl accounts are made, I'll be following them here deleting them there. Obviously, since I don't want to see the same thing twice.

As time goes by, I'll be checking the rate of artists and followers on FA vs. Weasyl and possibly make a final decision as to where I'll either permanently move to or if I'll keep both accounts open. Ultimately, I think it may be up to the two big dogs a a couple of the great artists as to wether FA keeps on existing or Weasyl becomes the new Furry Gathering site.
