Busy Busy 2: Electric Boogaloo by Rezorian

I just realized, after typing that title, that most of you are probably too young to even know what 80s movie I'm referencing. Regardless - Things are still quite busy. Work is taking up just about all of my time and, as expected, my free time is quite rare because of it. I have been working to draw more during my down time there, but I fear I've hit another wall, so to speak, that is preventing me from advancing. It is not the same doubt that crippled me before; it's more like a mix of trepidation and creeping excitement that has me stuck in a sort of limbo. I really can't describe it any better than that for whatever reason.

As for what else has been going on, well, it hasn't been much, but here is a list anyway just to keep my love of lists alive!

  • Zootopia is still a good movie. Yes, I saw it again: Took my cousins to see it since they hadn't yet and I needed an excuse I guess. I'm actually most upset about my art stagnation because I can't draw something to honor the movie in some way. It handles a very sensitive topic with surprising respect. It has flaws of course, but the writers clearly knew what they were aiming for with their script.

  • I have hit Prestige Level 5 in Black Ops 3. Before you all say "Wait. That means all you do is play Call Of Duty then? No wonder you don't have time to draw!" let me explain: I usually only play on one of my days off and, low and behold, they have been running a lot of 'Double XP' events that help you level faster. Long story short: Yes, I am playing too much Black Ops, BUT I am playing it at the right time at least. Besides, the emblem you unlock at Prestige Five is a minotaur! Who doesn't love minotaurs? Well, besides Theseus anyway, but he had his reasons...

  • The "Hellblazer" comic reboot seems to be off to a good start. I picked up the trade paperback of the first volume, called Going Down, and it does a great job of setting the stage for more crazy magic shenanigans. Definitely not for kids, but it never really was to begin with. Very gory, very dark, etc. As a lapse Constantine fan though, it certainly was worth the money.

That's really all I have to say beyond little random musings that I won't bore you folks with. Hope all is well in your world! For me though? This little piggy needs sleep. Take care folks.
