Sadly I have yet to find a good ad free streaming player. If you have Amazon Prime, you can play a big chunk of their library, but selection is sort mediocre.

Chelsea Wolfe is really good. Also Mark Lanegan. I try to get everyone I've ever met to listen to Nomeansno. Beer Bear if you don't mind everything in Russian. Nina Simone for the classic touch. Wolfmother to rock out. 69 Eyes for a dose of hilariously over the top goth. And after a point everything I suggest is either pop punk or sounds like 1970s rock n roll. Except the Polysics I guess. And Scarring Party.

my friend uses Spotify to find new music, but that has ads.i use 8tracks, i generally only use the app but that doesn't have ads. the only downside is you can't skip songs that often, but if you find a good playlist you won't have to :>
