So my life has been a bit of a wild ride through the first month of 2016

I was supposed to move to a different state and get a fresh start with (what I thought was) a better job and living situation, but the plans my friend and I had made fell through at the last minute. The job I was offered wound up calling for a mandatory 63 hour work week (flat rate automotive) with no guarantee that I would make much more than I do now since I would only be given recalls to work on, and the house we were going to be moving to was still occupied since the landlord had not given the current residents notice they needed to move and the house would not be ready for another month or two AFTER our move date. Now mind you, we were both set to move, so I gave my job a two week notice...they were nice enough to find me hours on the schedule when my plans fell through, but it's been such a sporadic schedule, I was given 11 hours on the schedule and picked up a whopping 27 extra hours in call outs. This week I only have 26 scheduled hours, and haven't managed to pick up any extra hours, times are tough for me.

Now on top of having 70% of my stuff packed and stored away from plans to move, I got a letter in the mail today about the car I had financed back when I had a better job, which did not work out. I could not afford the $428 monthly payments on my measly income and was forced to surrender the vehicle...after auction I still have a remaining balance to pay. Upon calling the bank, I was informed that I still owe just under $8K, but the bank helped me to a settlement of $4K to be paid off in 2 years with much lower monthly payments.

I'm going to be out looking for a second job a lot now, so I might be slow to reply or post for a while, just wanted to give you guys an explanation as to why I am not as active lately. Been a bit of a rocky start to my year, but I'll find a way to manage!
