It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like...January by Rezorian

So the northeast's first official "storm" had arrived and I am unimpressed. That is not to say it's a safe one though: D.C. apparently is bearing the brunt of it and I wish all those folks down here or anywhere else it's heavy the best!

Here though, it's the norm for a state filled with older or just paranoid residents: Grocery stores are barren and overcrowded as people hunt for last minute supplies, canned goods/bottled water are hard to come by and, of course, the roads are mostly empty save for those aforementioned last minute folks.

Me though? Just sitting on my tiny apartment's stone patio with a cigar, my phone and some bourbon. Power hasn't gone out yet, but it's only a matter of time. That's actually my favorite part of winter you know, the few hours or days the power goes out. Brings a refreshing calm to the world for a time. Not saying I'd prefer it to happen every day, but it's a welcome respite from our technology obsessed culture...

Never mind that I'm sending this from my phone while streaming music or anything. That is merely in your mind! In your mind I say!

Hypocritical statements aside: Be safe and stay warm everyone.
