Josh Gaudaen is at heart a very nice guy; polite, neat, even tempered, considerate. However, on first glance he can look very intimidating, especially when you’re his size, and it also doesn’t help that he sets off every single “gaydar” he comes across.

His family life hasn’t always been the best of times for him. He lost his mother when he was a teenager, and his brother came out of the closet a few years before that, making him question his sexuality at a very early age. After his mother’s death, he stayed with his brother while his father worked more to make up for the loss of income, but at the price of not being able to be there for Josh. It caused a rift that, while somewhat healed, has not brought them any closer. Perhaps it’s also due to the fact that Josh’s father disapproves of his older son’s lifestyle, and fears Josh may very well follow in the elder brother’s footsteps. Maybe it’s because of this that Josh’s now hypersensitive about people thinking he’s gay (he’s not), but with the support of his friends, he manages to take it all in stride.

But he still gets that awful feeling inside of his chest when guys hit on him…
