Gordon's Past is somewhat shrouded in mystery, not because it's intentionally hidden but because he is ancient beyond memory, even his own. He is generally dedicated to the preservation of unique cultures in their living form, resisting assimilation of cultures by others via violence wherever he can, acknowledging at the same time that everything must wax and wane. He does this, hopping from planet to planet in as much secret as he can and working from the shadows to thwart inter-planetary invaders from taking over until the locals can fend for themselves.

He's aged, as near as he can figure, around thirty years old, biologically, but can remember at least one hundred and fifty years previously with some reliability, and events going back nearly five hundred, although he's never quite sure how to place them in context.

Genetically he is unique, as far as he knows. Tests have shown him to be somehow related to homo-sapiens, an extinct race of primates from Terra, but the relation has never been fully established.

He is generally friendly, compassionate and helpful, but responds quickly to violence with same; having a very short

tolerance for despots or those that exhibit similar characteristics.
