Biography:

Everbound is interested in humans, whom most other Venvel avoid due to political issues. She is frequently seen in the company of the dragon Seraphon, often perched on his horns or his arm, depending on his form at the time. The two form something of a not-so-dynamic duo under normal circumstances, and are known to frequent human habitations in disguise.

Everbound lost her right wing as a child, she was out collecting decorative plants and wasn't paying much attention to the weather conditions. She was battered by a gale-force winter wind and the frozen earth broke her fall. She underwent the "Sleep Scarring" ritual; in which a Venvel becomes tree-like in form and replaces lost appendages with substitutes made out of magic, like a tree sprouting new branches.

All Venvel are schooled in the arts of magic from a young age, and Everbound is most adept in "Oneiromancy", which means she's talented at making dream-derived "objects" or "Bogey Beasts" or within a limited radius "environments" through spells. Her summoning spells are precursed by the appearance of a large, metaphysical object resembling a vertical, almond-shaped black-scleraed nazar called a "Glaring Gate".

Everbound can also link up to and interact directly with the subconsciousness of other beings, though this consumes quite a bit more energy than drawing solely from her own.

All Venvel are actually sentient, organic self-reproducing "robots"; their nervous systems/circuitry are made entirely out of magic energy. That's why Everbound's glass-like right wing looks the way it does.

Personality:

Everbound is usually good natured and a bit of a oddball, but she does have a temper about her, and tends to be self-centered when it comes to trivial things. She doesn't like to instigate fights (unless it involves something she has a strong opinion about), but is swift to her own defense as well as that of her friends. She is known to be easily amused at times. She often overreacts horribly when plans and situations go negatively awry from her expectations, but is usually as quick to cool down as she is to anger. She occasionally becomes immensely anxious in times of great stress, can be obsessive, and doesn't like feeling unclean. Despite her shortcomings, Everbound prefers to look at the bright side of life, and for the most part views people through their merits, unless said merits are severley outweighed by faults. She will remain interested in games, music, activities, etc. that she enjoys with no care as to what other people think, and is disgusted by pretentious attitudes, preferring individuals with broad tastes.

Why #0000fe instead of fully saturated blue?

I once had a flying dream in which I was in the form of Everbound Venvel. In the dream, an unseen onlooker made a nonsensical comment about Everbound's feathers being "pure blue but not quite", which lead me to choose #0000fe as part of her color scheme (previously, the brightest shade of blue had been #0807fb). I then made all of her feathers warm tones of blue, and gave her "energy" parts comparatively cooler tones.
