Azzari the Blue - AzzyBlue for short

In general, she is a dragon that would come from mountainous regions that see a lot of snow regularly. Her thick, soft fur with downy undercoat keeps her warm, but is light and fluffy enough to not be too heavy during flight.

- Head: Her head shape includes a slightly blunted muzzle, large-ish eyes, and proportions that give her a youthful appearance despite the fact that she's an adult. So to clarify, she's definitely more along the lines of being a cute dragon than a beautiful or majestic one. It's a survival tactic! (She gets more cookies that way.) Her ears are not pointed, and in fact look most similarly to a Scottish Highland Cow calf's.

- Tongue: Her tongue is very long, about the length of one of her forelegs, and is pink, with a slightly pointed tip. I'll let you guess what it's used for. (Hint: As much as she can get away with.)

- Body: She is slightly pudgy, though not enough to really impede her flying, just enough to be soft and cuddly. She is a size-shifter, and her proportions can change somewhat. When she's very small, she tends to be longer, especially her tail... enabling her to wrap around a friend's neck without being too much in the way. In general, she has similar proportions to a draft horse... thick in the limbs and body, while still appearing somewhat graceful.

- Wings: Elbow Digit REMOVED: Her wings no longer have the extra elbow-digit. Originally I had added that because Draco from Dragonheart has it. But I've found it looks a bit awkward, and it's hard to picture that anatomy being anything but in the way.

- Wings: General Anatomy: Her "fingers" on her wings are tipped with little grippy pads, that both help with grooming and manipulating her environment in some limited ways (picking up things, petting friends, etc). They're even strong enough to hold her body weight, though not for long periods. More, they would be used as extra ways to keep her energy up; if she's clinging to a mountainside, her wings open and grip the rock on either side of her to add some extra support so she doesn't get tired as quickly.

- Mane: Her mane runs from the top of her head all the way to the tip of her tail, which ends with a poof of extra fur. It's fluffy, so doesn't tend to hang like a horse's mane, but it's more silky than her body fur.

- Paws: Her front paws are an odd mix between hands and canine paws, with four short fingers and a thumb. When standing, the thumb is off the ground a little, a bit like a dewclaw. Her back paws are similar to canine paws with slightly longer digits. It's an odd trait that her pawpads never seem to roughen or get calloused, always remaining soft to the touch. Her claws on both front paws and back paws are blunt; she tends to keep them that way on purpose. If asked, she would state the reason being that she wants to keep from hurting anyone, and while that may be true, she keeps hidden the fact that she's a bit clumsy and has accidentally stabbed herself on her own claws before. (Shhh)

- Reproductive Anatomy: Azzy's genitals are almost completely hidden by thick fur unless she's aroused, and then her slit is slightly puffy and pinkish (a flushed/blushing version of her skin color, which is the same all over her body) and visible if her tail is lifted. Her slit is vertical, like most female mammals, as opposed to horizontal like a reptile's. She has six tiny nipples hidden in her belly fur; these can be felt but not seen unless the fur is parted on purpose. She also does not get pregnant. Ever. Ever ever. No matter what. It's MAGIC.

- Abilities: Size-Shifting: Azzari is able to size-shift into a wide array of sizes. Her smallest size is about the size of an anole; she can fit into a teacup with room to spare. The largest she can be is similar to the size of a fire truck (though a bit taller). Usually she prefers to match the size of whoever she's with, but can change sizes on request or if the mood suits her.

- Abilities: Breath: Unlike most dragons, Azzy doesn't have a breath weapon. Instead, she has an odd ability to breathe outward and produce simple shapes out of a blue (of course) substance that looks (and even tastes) similar to marshmallow, but is lighter than air and can float away like a helium balloon. Usually the shape is a heart, though she might customize the shape for a friend just for fun. She tends to do this when she's bored or feeling playful, though interesting things happen if she gets a case of the hiccups.

- Diet: She mostly eats meat, but Azzy is actually an omnivore. Her very favorite food is cake and she adores other sweets; her breath ability may be in part thanks to a way of storing the sugar she consumes, afterwards transforming it into the blue substance she breathes outward. The sugar storage compartment she calls her "dessert tummy," and is probably the reason why, even after a large meal, that she always has room for dessert.
