Vakos is a demigod like his brother, but his powers manifested as a great affinity for magic and spells. For this reason, most people just assume he is a talented mage, but his celestial power is just as potent even without having wings to show off.

Vakos takes his responsibilities a little more seriously than his brother, but he also doesn't see himself fit to rule a kingdom. Instead, Vakos is mostly concerned with self improvement, taking any learning opportunity he can to become more powerful and help his brother. Once he is satisfied he has fully mastered the nature and fabric of magic, perhaps then he'll turn his focus to politics, though that is not a day he looks forward to.
