Evelia is a mysterious bat who is a spirit medium and an outcast because she is seen as weird, especially since she believes in spirits which no one else thinks exist. Evelia is cared for by her sister after the death of her parents.

Evelia spends a lot of time visiting a haunted mansion where she can be in peace and interact with the spirits there. Evelia has a close friendship with Monty.
