Hermes grew up in a borderworld called Nirvana City. It's home to various races and humans that work and live together. Hermes had a pretty typical childhood, his mother and father Kalliope and Lysander were devoted to their twin children. Lysander's best friend and partner in law, Eli Tanner was also involved with Hermes' upbringing. He was very close to his twin sister Catia and she often protected her shy and sensitive brother. However things change after his father died when was 12 years old. He was shot at a social justice rally in downtown Nirvana City. He was next to him when it happened. Scarred and traumatized Hermes had a psychotic break and his mother and new step-father which was Eli sent him to Rowan Dale academy, a school for disturbed children of different races at age 14. Therapy and medication helped manage his issues. His therapist, Asif Kessler was his biggest advocate. It was there he learned of his new and strange gifts and it was Asif to helped him learn them.

Now he is a university in Nirvana City educating himself how to use his gifts and juggling a normal life. Still suffering from PTSD he still takes meds and sees another therapist. Asif trains him regularly and he lives with a dorm with his best friend/lover Calix who roomed with him Rowan Dale. He has never left his side. Hermes is trying to deal with real life, if only the weirdest stuff stops trying to interfere.

Personality: Sensitive and aware of his environment. Hermes is thoughtful, empathic and caring. He works well with other people and despite growing up with a difficult adolescences and learned to deal with his emotions. He doesn't deal with extreme stress well and over exerts himself. He does have moods when he is surly and lashes out or comes off as cynical. His big motivator is his lover Calix and his family. He will do anything for them and is the first one to defend them. He tries so hard to follow in his father's hoof-prints as a leader. He is afraid of failure and screwing up. He is also ashamed of his typical satyr vices and tends to throw them aside among humans and elves. He is proud of his community and his ancestry and respects where he comes from despite being a bit paradoxical.

His biggest is fears are not being able to protect the people he loves and hurting them with is own unusual gifts. He is unsure what his gifts are for and struggles how to use them. He suffers from nightmares over the loss of his father and as well from exaggerated anxiety. He doesn't deal with it well and is medicated because of it.

Over all Hermes is complex and emotional. Caring he is willing to help anyone in danger and deal with his own shortcomings day by day.

Weakness: Tends to get anxious and suffers from break downs and lashes out people when scared. Loves his culture but doesn't know how to deal with it among humans based on their own prejudices. Smokes and drinks but tries to quit and fails. Can be loud and obnoxious and occasionally thinks with the head between his legs than the one on his neck.
