Volt can conduct and manipulate electricity much like Evangeline could, though unlike Evangeline, Volt can never apply this to help others with their electronics or their appliances. This is because he was experimented on by Warlocks. The ‘tiger stripes’ on his skin are much akin to the Demon he was forced to have their blood put in him, the ‘Japanese Ogre’ [Oni], a type of Wrath Demon with similar wrathful properties to Evangeline’s fairy abilities when used for evil. His sister, Electra also has these stripes.
He begrudgingly sides with Lady Indiga and the Warlocks because he’s been manipulated by them into believing they can make a cure for the experimentation he has been put through.
Volt is not approving of Electra’s relationship with Gardenia, half of it being that he already has romantic feelings for Electra, but the other being that he sees Gardenia as weak and pathetic and unable to protect Electra. There is similar reasoning for why he doesn’t approve of Shinobu being around Electra as well.
His real name is ‘Benjamin Quinterno’ though he has forgotten that name for a while.
