History
An abomination.
This dragon was created in a lab. Three different dragon lineages were merged to create one incredibly powerful strain of DNA. What his creators didn't know, was that fusing the three magics of fire, water and shadow would create the most mentally unstable creature known to Kingsvale. He destroyed the lab upon being born, and even as a hatchling, not many could compete with the magic that flowed through his veins.
He escaped, destroying all life in his path. His rage seemed to be endless, until he wound up in a long forgotten forest and finally took some time to rest.
Dragons of all kinds refuse to enter the forest he claimed as his own. Many tell their hatchlings that it's severely haunted just to spare them from the gruesome history of the one who dwells in its darkness.
He remains there, taking in all that are curious, and feasting on them.
