Because of this treatment, when Audrey starts getting ignored in favor of Mal, he and her start spending a fair amount of time together, and when she starts getting shunned after her stunt in Descendants 3 they start developing a romantic relationship
Alexei calls Audrey "Hase" or "Leibling" bunny and darling respectively, in German, sometimes though he will just call her bunny, in English
He speaks German, of course
His mom is one of the only people he actually trusts, usually he speaks in German to his mom and only his mom, Audrey is the only other person who gets a bit of his first language at her specifically
Both colors of his hair are natural, I know it looks like dye, but it's not
