Has an interest in wooing Gabriel, because of his demonic heritage, and because Gabriel is involved with Ben, the king of Auradon, he has not currently been successful, as just as Cornelius' demonic heritage makes him attracted to Gabriel, Gabriel's own makes him immune to Cornelius' siren song
Skilled in illusions and potions
Has two older cousins, both fathered by demons as well, and the three of them together are a rather intense threat of course
Cornelius means horn, he is named after his father, but more than anything to make others aware of who his father is so they will be frightened of him and won't touch him
