The human forms of my dragons, Salamander and Skullamander. These two are more or less the same person, as Salamander is from the base reality and Skullamander is him from a mirrored reality. He was thrown here after an accident testing a teleporter, and no contact with his original home has been made, which may not even be possible. They hang out together, have a lot of inside jokes, and have the same thought process in most situations. Salamander more often takes the lead if a situation calls for it, as this is his world and people know him better. While most people, often including themselves, call them brothers or twins, they're actually closer to clones. It's just easier for them to say they're siblings.

Even in human form, they keep several dragon features, such as the sharp teeth, slit pupils, and claws. I love the idea of men painting their nails, so these boys do it as well. mostly dark blue and dark red, but sometimes darkish neutral colors. Salamander's skin tone has a lot of reds and pinks, where as Skullamander's has more greys and blues. They started sticking to a color theme of red and blue a lot more once they were together. Because the two realities played out very similarly, they have a lot of matching scars and marks. The war went way worse for Skulla's world though, and he considers himself lucky to be in Sala's world, not the other way around. Their burn scars and knee scars are reversed, but Skullamander has a large gash scar on his forearm, and Salamander has the small scar over his mouth.

As a side note about art of these two, I often just mirror and slightly recolor a drawing of one to make it of the other. I rework a lot of the art of their dragon forms in the same way, but it takes longer cuz the head is completely different and requites all new line work. Human form is much easier - I just add or remove the lip scar and make sure the flags are facing the right way,
