Born along side his shiny sister, to Vincent and Judith on the traveling Gym Leader's ranch.

-Godfather was Tye, the gym leader's prized Emboar.
-A typical Scraggy, butting heads with his sister and heads with anyone else. He thought he'd follow in dad's footsteps and be the next Fighting Type leader.
-Father was an ex-gang member, who eventually caught up to him. They killed his mother, Judith in the process of getting Vincent to come back and leave everyone behind. His kids' lives were threatened, they said they can live but never said anything about Judith who tried to protect them.
-Resented his father after what happened, and grew closer to his Godfather Tye who took over as a father figure to them.
-After the death of his mom, he started to show signs of the dark type side growing. Tye was worried, wanting him to stay the course of fighting type.
-Finally heard where they're father may be, the traveling gym leader and his team, alongside was Maynard and Abby to investigate.
-They found them, but the gang was too strong and injured Abby, Maynard & Vincent but Tye died protecting them from the final blow. After all this, Maynard officially became a leading Dark Type, and hating his father more now.
-A bit angsty after the death of mom and godfather, only turning to his sister or trainer for comfort. His best friends, Angus & Serj as well.
-Lead singer to Serj's band, Poison Shock.
