Derek Tistmon is a slightly taller and slightly skinnier then the average Gengar. A very rich Pokemon indeed having control over his form of Mafia. Owning several casinos spanning over the many continents of the Pokemon world. Even recently allowing one to be airborne.

His hypnotic capabilities is rather impressive, his eyes glow a bright red while staring into the other creature's eyes. Resorting to possession if they continue to look away for too long. He has a special kind of hypnosis passed down from his father where his eyes turn purple. Those who stare are almost instantly hypnotized with how powerful it is. He has never need to use it before because he is powerful in hypnosis as is.

Thanks to his father's treatment towards him, he is near immune to hypnosis. Able to phase through any physical means of Hypnosis like collars or rings. Even more interesting, he seemingly has a natural "persuasion" towards other Ghost-type pokemon when hypnotizing them. Making them the most vulnerable to his power.

He very much treats his employee's well, most of them are very willing Haunter's and other species. However, some of them have been rather...not so nice to him before employment. He won't hypnotize employee's unless they...are being "bad". He has made many encounters with various bad people. But he isn't one to resort to hypnosis right away, even when he is being attacked. He is strong enough to handle himself in combat, but just like other Gengar's, his defense isn't so...spectacular.

Typically wearing a purple tuxedo he does wear something much different when he goes swimming. Usually only adding a scarf for when it is super cold outside.

He leans more towards women, but he isn't opposed to being with a man if the...circumstance is possible. He is very blunt but playful with his subjects.
