Still have two more of these to go for now. I introduced a few new characters in the last page, so I am catching up the best I can!

Here's my sweetheart Lya.

"Yet another post-Year Zero Evo. Young and full of life. Worry-less thanks to the efforts and sacrifices of the older generations. As many young Evos, Lya is very conscious about this, and wants no more but to show gratitude to her older kin.

But there is someone very special to her that she feels the most protective of. Someone that last so much during Year Zero. That Evo is her Life Giver, Lay. Like few other Evos, Lay has had a really hard time adapting after Year Zero; these events torment him day and night and Lya will never rest until she manages to make him overcome his trauma.

Not knowing any other way, she decided to join Project D.E, as a way to lure Lay into joining too. Maybe knowing that they would work together for the safety of Canis Major would eventually make him overcome his fears. Unfortunately, Lay did not follow... But she has hope that her being part of project D.E will eventually persuade him to change his mind.

Lya came with this plan somewhat late. She wasn't able to go through the basic training to be a D.E Development team member. But this was not going to stop her. She somehow managed to catch the D.E Team before they departed for the first time, actually going as a stowaway in the D.E Cruiser. Wen found by the team, she was persuaded to go back, but after telling Captain Kalem her story, he complied to help her and let her stay.

She has a makeshift position at the D.E cruiser, keeping track of their supplies, as she learns more everyday."

My beautiful Lya! I am so glad I included her since the beginning. Originally, in the novel, she wouldn't appear until later in the story. She will have a very important role in the story, but also in Husky's life.
