Originally uploaded to PaRappa the Rapper Amino on June 13th, 2018. I made her for a contest for character making and my theme was dreams. She placed 3rd out of the 10 or so people who entered.

Here, we have Astral, who was named after the stars in the sky. She is a 17 year old lynx with dark blue fur symbolizing the night sky, brown hair, and one blue and one brown eye. She also wears a nightcap, which symbolizes her tiredness and her sleeping a lot, which I’ll explain later.

How is she related to dreams, you ask? Well, my friend, the answer is very simple. She really loves dreams, and is really good at remembering them. She keeps a dream journal next to her bed so she can write them down when she wakes up in the morning. She also loves to lucid dream, and she has been doing it since she was 5. She is one of the only animals/people in Parappa Town who can do it though. She really wants to write a book to spread her ideas about lucid dreaming to not just the town, but also throughout the world.

She also has a special pillow that can collect her dreams overnight. She can plug it into her computer and watch them in the morning, but she only does this if she somehow forgets her dreams or if she needs a specific detail from a certain dream. Her father, who is a skilled engineer and technician, made the pillow for her on her 13th birthday.

She loves to study her dreams, so if she catches a specific symbol from a certain dream, she can figure out what the dream means to her and sometimes even why she had the dream.

She has some conditions that strongly define who she is. No one’s a Mary Sue, you know. She sleeps a lot because of her depression. She’s lost some family members in her lifetime, like her grandmother for example. She was like a second mother to her. When she passed away, she suddenly wasn’t herself anymore...

She also has heterochromia iridium, which is why she has 2 different colored eyes. In addition, she has Pseudobulbar Affect (or PBA), which is sudden and uncontrollable laughing or crying due to certain neurological conditions (I can explain that more if you want later). She thinks it links to her depression.
