Drawn into the legacy of dragons after his involvement with the fall of Celestia, Jinks befriends the heirs of House Nordrak during a journey to the elven capitol to return celestial artifacts from the mountain. He becomes a travelling companion to Balasar, providing the hermit with council and advice on social matters, as well as directing his actions with quick thinking.
