Arsen has been (and still is) a succesful member of the Alchemist's Guild, contributing through his exessive research in experimental alchemy. However, one of his most dangerous experiments went wrong, nearly killing him in the enourmous explosion and distortion of the Orders. He was rescued, on the verge of death, by his wife, a leading member of the Docto's Guild. Although both guilds believed him to die, his wife managed to keep him alive long enough to complete her research, and, through a combination of medical and alchemistic procedure, enable him to live. Most of his upper body was burned in the accidents and several pieces of debris had pierced his chest. After that, the guils arranged rule for the architecture and safety of the buildings for experimental alchemy. Arsen still continues his research, exploiting his new abilities for more drastic experiments, often crossing the lines of toleration of the Guilt. He is an expert at keeping most of his experiments secret from the Guild.
