Ren began his teenage years as a Mender, a special sect of Hylotl that specialized in using Staff technology to heal wounds. Of course in the wake for the Floran invasion and his people's exodus, Ren's outlook on life shifted rather dramatically. He renounced his desire to help others, yet surprisingly he embraced spiritual tendencies rather than wrathful ones.

If there was ever such a thing as a Necromancer in space Ren would be the perfect example. He spends most of his time secluded away from the living (Most carry guns and sharp objects), preferring the peace and seclusion of his recently renovated Hylotl Stronghold among numerous Gosmet and his pet Spookit. When he looks upon the Gosmet he's reminded of his people. Warriors, and friends, taken from the universe well before their time.

Ren favors Spears in combat, and is often escorted by Spookit, Gosmet, Skimbus, and sometimes even multiple at once. He favors the Ice element, and has an aversion to Poison. He makes money by attacking bandits and cannibals throughout the galaxy. Survivors spread horror stories of a 3-eyed demon who commands the dead to seek vengeance against their murderers.
