The youngest child of the deity of creation, Rencal Kei-Rhai. Of all his children, Marcel can be considered the weakest, with only an Ena-LV at about 12 (barely as high as a dragon's average Ena-LV), as well as an inability to freely use his godly powers, but also the one with the most potential.

His title, the Child of Twilight, would normally allow him to have dominion over light and shadow, as well as the ability to split and combine absolutely anything, just how the twilight combines day and night... however, after beeing attacked with a strong Shadow-Ena technique when he was about 18, he was almost killed, got a huge scar on his side and a huge part of his powers, those of combination and shadow, split off into a Shadow-Walker called Kujerin. Although Marcel may eventually regenerate his now locked powers on his own, at the moment, he can't freely access them without outside help.

Marcel grew up in a rather ordinary childhood as a mortal; or Karrin, in Illiadian slang. However, during his teen years, more and more weird things happened to him, like him finding out that he housed the soul of Kashi Arrasse Kei-Rhai, beeing his "successor", which eventually resulted in him gaining control over Ena, as well as finding out about his twin Damio, whose soul was also locked into Marcel's body by their father at birth, because their mother couldn't deal with twins at the time.

Eventually, when their mother died and joined her husband in the marble cathedral as his queen, Rencal told Marcel and his brother the full truth, as well as about their godly heritage; this would also result in Kashi regaining his physical body. Marcel and Kashi remain on good terms to this day.

Nowadays, Marcel works as an artist at the TTS, the Transdimensional Traveling System on Earth. There, he sketches other worlds and their Flora, Fauna and societies before they become aviable to the public to travel to. He also sometimes travels to other worlds on his own, using his own Dimensional Guide; a transdimensional traveling device, disguised as a pin on his jacket. He was one of the first humans on earth to own one and thus has special clearance on influencing other universes in diplomatic affairs.

Other trivia:

• His main weapon, should the need to fight come up, is his Scythe of Sunfall, which is created and summoned out of a fragment of his soul.

• He absolutely loves Salty and Spicy snacks and favors them over sweets and desserts.

• He once had an ability called Dreamer-Ability. It allowed his sould to break froms his body, during sleep, to go to other worlds and times. With 16 years, he suddenly wasn't able to use this powers, anymore. However, this ability seems to slowly come back.

• He once had dracophobia, but thanks to a dear friend of his, he was able to overcome it.

• Although he has a wide variety of Ena-Techniques, he tends to use his shield and his passive abilites most often.

• Marcel is protected by the Archangel of Justice, Atira. He represents the passive part of the Scales of Justice. When calling Atira for help, his fighting styles are usually passive and boosting.

• Marcel can't freely access any of his deity forms without external help; especially not his full deity form. He needs to use a certain type of crystal, but he does tend to have a few at hand to at least turn into his incomplete deity-form when needed. However, he can use his Arrash-form freely and can turn into a Rakiakaru with either an eclipse-bracelet or a solar eclipse.

• His incomplete deity form uses ordinary Daylight-ena, as does his Human-, Arrash- and Rakiakaru-form, with a tiny few shadow-ena abilities remaining; although his shadow-side seems to be recovering, so we may see more shadow-elemental powers in the future. His complete deity form on the other hand seems to be using Shadow-Ena and so called "White" Ena; an amalgamation of Daylight, Moonlight, Starlight, Neutral and Holy-Ena, as well as the same stuff that Light-walkers are made of. White Ena hasn't been properly studied yet but seems to have incredible potential.

• Since his aspect almost perfectly combines Light and Shadow into one, his Room in the Marble- and Obsidian Cathedrals is actually located in the Grey Cathedral; an area where the two cathedrals cross. This area used to lack someone that properly governs it like the other two cathedrals, and was thus governed by the two gods Rencal and Sh'ther simultaneously, but Marcel is looking like the perfect candidate to be the King of The Grey Cathedral after his death.

Repost from dA. One of the more important characters of my Dimensional Shadows setting and frequently the protagonist in some of the more sci-fi-esque and modern-day stories! He also happens to be my semi-persona, since he used to be directly based on me.

Nowadays he's more of a standalone character, but he's still similar enough to me to be considered "me", especially in the name-department (same first name y'all), so he's my semi-sona for th setting!
