About two years ago I came out as transgender, and I am just now finally getting around to making a new character sheet for my now-female character. Also, since I decided to make the Shalkad into a distinct species instead of just a subspecies of the Dralyx, I took the time to do a minor redesign. I also chose to do a 2D ref in Inkscape instead of making it 3D in blender.

Changes to the species design include:

Black fur was changed to more of a dark gray
Now has stripes along the neck, shoulders, and back
Wings were removed
Ears are slightly shorter
Ear tufts are bigger and include feathered tips
Whiskers have feathered tips
Facial markings were changed, made slightly more natural looking
