I was sitting in my room, thinking about some cool and not so cool things to draw, and BAM there she was : Ivy

Ivy is my term of endearment for her, because , I dont know, Ivy is pretty she is pretty, you know what I am trying to say.....

What you get here ist my first concept for her , and simultaneously a little Characer sheet, but I didnt want to put too much information into the picture, so here u have some more Info:

Name:Ivy

Species: not yet defined / Hybrid between Serpent and Carnivorous Plant

Gender: In this case- female

Identity:

Mostly keeps for herself, cause she enjoys the sounds and tastes of nature. Is extremely patient , but is a bitch if angered.

In general her species is pretty shy, but if treatened right they make a pretty good partner.

WARNING: These are NOT pets, especially she is not able or willing to be the third wheel the second hand , or the toy that has to wait until her owner has time to play!!

Likes:

long walks in the forest, Insects, sunsets,"normal snakes" for breakfast , adhering onto trees to get the precious resin, sucking flowers until theres no more nectar, humus, fertilizer

Dislikes:

humans with big sticks , parfume , fatty food , sunglasses ( they dont have eyes) , pesticides, dentists

Physiology:

As you can see this Species has 3 jaws , each is provided with a sharp set of teeth.

Tough they have no poison, their saliva is extremely caustic, wich allows these creatures, to digest their prey on the go. This ability made the existence of a stomach pretty unneccessary , and because of that, a second mouth developed on the "south end". The tail splitted into 3 parts, witch are controllable independently from each other, so they make kind of a good tool to grab things to carry them around or to hold prey in place while "butteating" them...

The primary mouth has 3 tongues, while the upper two have developed into some kind of transmitter-whiskers , the bottom one fulfills the exact same purpose a snaketongue would fulfill.

The teeth in the primary mouth are foldable at their base, which allows them to find place when the 3 jaws are completely closed, if the jaws are opened they immediately click into place, ready to attack or defend.

These fellas are born out of eggs and develop on their own from their birth on.

As you can see, the overall look of tis creature is quite flower-ish so if they dont move (or wait for prey like a venus Flytrap would do) they just look like very pretty flowers, but please, dont stick your finger or nose in....
