Boyd is, in short, a really terrible guy. He's an anxious shut-in who rarely leaves his home and spends most of his time obsessively watching TV or playing video games. He's extremely anti-social, and very blunt and insensitive. Talking to him is generally difficult if you have feelings -- he's highly unpleasant and irritable. He is very difficult to get along with and is extremely stubborn. He has very few friends, and while most of the time he is better with them than others, he is still cranky and will frequently lash out at them if he is in a poor mood. Boyd is very self-destructive.

When he's in a good mood, he's almost more unpleasant -- reckless and aggressive, Boyd will challenge anyone who dares to look at him and will take huge risks during times like these. He is often purposefully malicious, even to those who he cares for.
