paste from deviantart: this universe has invertebrates and fish replacing feral animals, so basically the equivalent of the pest invasion in that continent should probably be greedy rabbit farmers immigrating from Europe. Eventually a guerrilla warfare would take place, and they lost (circa 1960- something). to this day they've been looked down upon and segregated by many, not to mention the elderly people. then again there's still rabbits who are vengeful and are still being old-fashioned.
