Velaine is a soft and friendly person. She loves to make sweaters for others and help when she can. Her magic is expected to be ice related and her parents expect a lot from her. She acts like it doesn't bother her that so much is expected from her, and that something like that is not stressful in the slightest, but it does bother her. While she will end up with a combative type magic, it won't be ice related, her parents already aren't happy about that and they don't even know.
She likes soft things and carries around a least one soft stim toy with her where ever she goes. Her special interest is making clothing and all the different ways that that can be done, but she favours knitting so much because she can usually get away with knitting in class and get a good amount of work done.
She's a very bright young girl and a bit of a teachers pet, which probably helps her to get away with knitting in class. Most of her teachers also understand that knitting helps her focus on the lesson since she doesn't have to think too hard about the knitting.
