-Appearance:

Overall:

Very lean and slender, but not overly skinny. Long and thin legs, slightly arched back, narrow face and relatively short tail. The ears are big and pointy, there’s no fur inside. Both ears have a triangle shaped slot on them. Since there’s not much muscle definition, he’s physically rather weak, but uses his swift movements and brilliant wits to compensate the missing strength.

Fur:

White with a slight hue of cream. The length and texture varies; fur is very smooth, short and soft in back, head and legs, while in neck, cheek, hindquaters and tail the fur is much stiffer and coarser. The longer fur points upwards in neck area, creating a characteristic ‘neck fluff’. Pale pink skin shows through in places where fur is shortest.

Markings:

Being an albino, Machete doesn’t have any real markings. However, as a part of a ritual ceremony, his eyelids and lips were tattooed/dyed black. The black lines ending to a small hook in his forehead are actually cut to his skin and then dyed black. Irises are blood red and pupils are black/dark red, round and small.

Clothing and accessories:

In feral form, the only accessory he wears is a set of bandages, which can be either light brown (made of cotton, represents a monk’s robe) or bright red (made of silk, represents a cardinal’s outfit). The bandages can be arranged in many different ways, though they are usually binded loosely around the front legs, chest and neck.

In anthro form Machete can be seen wearing a typical medieval monk’s robe, a black cassock with a white clerical collar, or a cardinal’s red cassock. If the bandages are worn, they’re usually wrapped around his arms. His set of rosary beads is black and made of hematite.

-Personality:

Machete is a master in hiding his true feelings, and can be endlessly patient. To keep up appearances, he always acts politely and with dignity in public and avoids any kind of emotional outbursts. His basic expression appears to be a mix of annoyance and boredom. He doesn’t talk much either, and when he does, his voice is very soft and quiet. He’s very sophisticated and intellectual, and quite a calculating schemer as well.

But under that pure white surface he’s twisted, cold-hearted, paranoid and hopelessly alone. He’s not afraid of using brutally violent ways to archieve what he wants.

-Health:

Machete has never been the healthiest of dogs. His tolerance for infectious diseases is low, which causes him to get sick every now and then. His bones are fragile and skin is thin and bleeds easily, so he tends to avoind fights and other situations where something could get broken.

Skin with no pigment to protect it gets sunburns very easily. Due to the lack of pigment in eyes, his eyesight is rather poor especially at bright light, which also often causes physical pain and migraine (photophobia). Because of this, he usually spends daytime indoors, and only goes out at night or early at dawn.

-Religiosity:

Notwithstanding his occupation as a cleric, he’s not particularly religious. For him, the role in church hierarchy is more like a way to fulfill his selfish desires than anything, although he does enjoy the silence and safety it offers.

Due to his past, Machete has contacts to “the darker side” of the community, and he knows personally many heretics, witches and assassins, as well as inquisitors and mercenaries. He befriends them as long as it benefits him, but certainly burns them at the stake if his own reputation is in concern.

-Fighting skills:

As a novice he learned a wide repertoire of fighting and martial art skills, as well as handling different weapons. He’s not usually the one attacking, but is able to defend himself if the situation demands it. He prefers various knives and blades as weapons because of their accuracy and small size, which makes them easy to hide in bandages and sleeves of clothing.
