Physical Traits

• Beige fur coming from the inside of the ears towards the outside - light pink rest of inside of ears

• Hands are usually human-like but can be paws (if so pads are beige) has light pink nails on hands

• 3 black eyelashes going towards her ears from the top of her eyelid
• Thicker Black line surrounds her eyes, making them more pronounced, and Egyptian looking

• Giant Golden Ankh in center of back, spanning from directly below her wings to right above her tail.
• Same design / location as the front of her body, just running from the top of her neck to the bottom of each calf. (Example: |-| <- “|” is a thin gold line and “-” is a thick gold line)

Tail

• Front of Tail (Top)

• Open Golden Triangles that stretch around her tail, 6 total - pointing away from her body, have white insides.

• Back of Tail (Bottom)

• Ends of the Open Golden Triangles come together and create six stripes on the back of her tail.

• All of these markings are optional if she’s an angel, as they’re painted on her fur, not permanent. They do have to all be there or not be there at all though.

Personality

• Blames herself for what happened to her and Sledge
• Constantly sad to know that her love cannot see her, for she’s an angel and he’s immortal, so she watches him live life. Knowing he’s alright means the world to her.

Accessories / Foods

• Golden Halo above her head at all times. Glows with a soft light, and is a constant reminder to her that although she’s not among the living anymore, she lived her life well enough to become an angel and be granted her wings. Must be circular - Must be gold / yellow - Must be glowing.
• Neter Necklace around her neck is the sign of the gods, she doesn’t always wear it, but it’s usually around her neck. The head of the necklace must be gold, the stick coming off of the head must be black. The string it’s tied to may be any color, although it’s usually black.
• Gold bracelet on right arm - Mandatory.

Behind the Scenes
+The main part that we don’t see about Kira is that although always flying around in the clouds, looking like she’s having a blast out of her time in the sky, she’s often doing so to try and clear her mind of what happened to her and Sledge. She constantly blames herself for their love being destroyed, for her own death, both of their unspeakable torture, and for Sledge’s curse. Every day she hopes and prays that she’ll one day be able to re-join her love in some way, and that he’ll find some way to release himself of his horrible curse.

• She has never seen or heard of Sledge’s second form until the day that he heard about Brisk’s heartbreak and transformed in the woods, causing the destruction and fire there. Seeing such a thing hurt her beyond comprehension, to see her love in such pain again, and not being able to help him. She works and strives everyday to interact with him in any and all ways she can, but to no avail, until one night she followed him into the woods and out to a clearing, where he sat down on a rock and gazed up at the stars. Kira, knowing this was something they used to do together hugged Sledge, and as she did he jumped back startled by the sight that appeared in front of him. Their reunion was complete - and since that night they’ve been able to see one another visually.

• She does not have a halo if she is not an angel
• She does not have wings if she is not an angel

Author’s Notes

My dearest Kira... There’s been a lot she’s been through, and with all of the things she’s taken the loss of her love the hardest. There’s a part of me in all of these characters, as you know if you’ve ever contacted me about them (which is most of my current watchers as of now). The thing that inspired me to bring her to life was actually a loss of my own. This is the same loss that Sledge endured by losing Kira, and the same loss that Brisk goes through in Sledge’s back story. Kira is the hidden hope that only you can see once you’ve gained the perspective and learned to come to peace with your loss. She was brought about in Sledge’s story, making her debut there, and the feedback (as mentioned in my notes about Sledge) was absolutely stunning. More people had asked / commented about Kira in my notes than they had Sledge - and Sledge has a very, very good amount of mails concerning him.
Kira was more or less brought to life by you guys / gals. I gave her breath, and love, and maybe in time was going to give her more - but your feedback and love for her inspired me to bring her to life as a full-on character, and a part of my main group. I talked a little on this when I put out the rough sketch of her, then on every one after that until her ref sheet I do believe. So when all of you compliment her, and comment on what a deep character she is, I have to thank you all for motivating me to bring her about! Without you, there may not be a Kira at all, or at least not the one you know now. I think that’s very special, and I thank all of you again for such a strong feedback!
The day Sledge’s story came out it blew up immediately (for my normal number of views at least), even though it was NSFW due to the violence. If I remember correctly, it got right around 40 views in the first hour alone (they’ve just trickled in since then), but of those 40 views the next time I refreshed my page I had 33 notes! They were probably 60-40 60% commenting on Kira and her plight, questions about her, if she’s becoming a character, if I have art, or WANT art of her, ect - the other 40% about Sledge and the story. That was absolutely amazing! That was exactly what I needed to see to know that I did something right, and that this character meant a lot to a good group of people - probably close to what she meant to me.
The next day I was busy - but the day after that I got right onto working a design out for her, and was still getting mail asking about her - so I got a very rough concept up and uploaded it, and from there, well... Everyone that knows Kira knows what’s happened! She’s been the subject of multiple trades already, hundreds of conversations, and a few reminders to people who’ve lost loved ones, whether they were family, pets, whatever. I’m just happy I was able to bring her to life and get such an overwhelmingly positive reaction from all of you for so long! From everyone in my group, Brisk, Sledge, and myself...
