History/Origin: While still in California, Skylar met Tur Ratellar, a buglike alien symbiote. Tur's discomfort with their home planet's gender system had led them to come to Earth. Skylar became Tur's host organism and (as is typical of the species) their concious minds eventually merged into one.

Powers/Skills: Their custom suit of armor is a trademark of Tur's species. A combination of engineering, magic, and alchemy makes them almost invincible when wearing the suit, and gives them the ability to control their own friction and momentum at will. The suit is designed so that only Skylar can use it.

Skylar is also a decent fighter (Jeremy, an acquaintance Skylar met in Tampa, has a similar suit but is not very good at fighting.)

Personality: Skylar gets angry easily and complains a lot. They're very open and honest, even with strangers, but they don't empathize with other people very well.

Skylar has a countercultural streak. They define themself as a villain, but they never do anything "evil" and are much more likely to fight against other bad guys than to help them.

It's impossible to tell whether Skylar or Tur is more dominant, because they had similar personalities before they met.

Appeals to love, inclusion, and understanding make Skylar feel alone, isolated, and misunderstood.
