Bio: Since he was just a little gumdrop, Sherbert always seemed different. He didn't socialize well, found that certain subjects took up all of his focus, couldn't help twitching and fidgeting, and felt quite disconnected from reality. As it turned out, Sherbert was autistic. When his family found out, they chose to look for a cure rather than aiding him in living his life. This made things hard for the little Canudi. Luckily, Sherbert met Grapejuice, another Canudi on the spectrum with aspergers. Grapejuice taught Sherbert how to socialize and survive, all the while accepting his autism and interests. Unlike his family who wanted Sherbert to change, Grapejuice helped him be the way he wanted to. The two have become best friends ever since.

Sherbert is very passionate about his interest in sharks. From gummy hammerheads to salt-water taffy tiger sharks, he knows everything about these predatory candy fish of the seas. Unlike a shark, he is not very tough, nor is he aggressive, but if pushed to the edge he can snap just like anybody else. Sherbert's dream is to work with these fish and learn everything he ever could about their lives. Don't be surprised if he talks to you for hours about this.

So I drew this for Autism Awareness/Acceptance month. Since I myself have the condition the #Redinstead movement really means a lot to me. I'm not a fan of Autism Speaks, like at all.
