Aurum is, in all regards, an arrogant being. While ranked one of the lowest in terms of hellhound rankings, he doesn't let that stop him from his hatred of humans. He carries out his contracts easily and quickly, taking time to play around and torture his targets before heading home. Because of this, he is often used as a 'third' in every Cleanse, though he complains 4 months isn't long enough to completely erase a person's sins from their body, often times taking longer to feed from their negativity.

Aurum is a fiery being in all respects, even his pelt is a blazing red and orange. Lava constantly trickles down his horns and seemingly reabsorbs just to drool out again. Because of this, the rock-like formations on his horns and legs often times change shape as well, forming with the cooled lava and breaking off over time. He takes pride in this fact, considering himself a true being of Void, expressing his glee for being one with the Hell-like place they call home.

Like all hellhounds, Aurum can transition from Void to Earth via portals, his is of a reddish-brown color. Unlike other hellhounds, he takes a while longer to transition between world, due to his low rank and therefore power. He can utilize the power of flames like other hellhounds though he prefers to use his claws and fangs for true damage, relishing the taste of blood.

Aurum and his cousin, Vincent, first met Talon when he was delivered to Void, being told to Cleanse him so he could wear a slave collar. However, despite Talon's weakened state, he fought Aurum every step of the way which led to the Cleanse being incomplete and Aurum to remain hungry, unable to feed from Talon's rage. Vincent told his cousin he had no issues with the werewolf, as he used manners and did his job properly, which led to Aurum's scorn.

Aurum currently resides in Void, still, carrying out contracts to this day. He, like the other demons and inhabitants of Void are awaiting the day when the dark takes over and Chitsume returns to take back the planet they had once helped defend. To them, they wish for the extinction of humans, much like Chitsume does, gaining his favor and approval.
