Duncan Boulos is an Arabic European child. He is an extrovert, and shows interest in reading, painting and music. His two familiars are cheshire cats that represent the positive and negative aspects of his personality, and he often deals with bouts of depression. However, he is able to tackle this head on with the help of his familiars, family and friends. He is best friends with Gideon, and often looks to Tal for guidance.

Familiars: Duncan has a rocky relationship with Chaos, the dark cheshire, mainly because of his unwillingness to immediately deal with his depression. Instead, he originally intends to bottle it up and keep it to himself, causing Chaos much mental pain and frustration. Dawn, however, is given a lot of attention and praise by Duncan. She joins him in various activities and feeds off of his more positive mood.
