Another mostly finished ref I'd been sitting on for awhile.

Nate is another member of Lily's organization, and is somewhat high-ranking for his age. He's always had a natural talent for the job and has managed to earn the respect of most of his peers. He's been sort of an older brother/mentor to Lily, and she sees him as a sort of role model. He thinks she could probably find a better one, but tries to be deserving of the admiration.

As a general statement, Nathan comes off as very stoic and as kind of a jerk at first, but can be funny, helpful, and even sweet once you learn how to interact with him. Genuine smiles are rare, but worth trying to bring out. He likes philosophy, telling stories of his escapades, and is really a big snarky dork in the long run. He has little patience for incompetence, however, and can be harsh or unforgiving in some situations. Finally, despite his position and usual calm demeanor, he's impulsive, indecisive, doesn't handle stress well, and occasionally has to be talked off the edge of some kind of meltdown. Lily really worries about him sometimes.
