Axl Reigns the Heavy Metal Warrior!

Axl grew up on the poor side of town near Greenwood swamp just outside of Beach City. His father worked a dangerous job at a run down Steel Mill alongside other reptiles while his mother worked at a local diner. Axl spent the majority of his childhood growing up playing with his younger brother Andy, and little sister Alice as well as the neighboring reptile children swimming away the hot days at the local swamp and catching bugs with his tongue. Despite the prejudices of the city, and living at the poor side of town, Axl was brought up to never think less of himself despite his reptilian heritage. Nevertheless, he became aware of mammalian prejudice at a young age after an incident where he became friends with a young pup.

Once entering his teenage years, Axl became obsessed with heavy metal and bought himself a cheap guitar at a local pawn shop. It wasn't long before Axl's talent became apparent and he was approached by an aspiring rock band made up of mammals. To make a long story short, it did not end well between Axl and his band and Axl found himself playing at cheap gigs and performing on street corners.

Eventually, Axl struck gold after hearing the lead singer of the Nightriders had walked out and Rolf Steiner the guitarist was holding auditions. Axl's ability to sing and play guitar left Rolf impressed and Axl found himself for the first time in the spotlight of the mainstream media.
