I finally got around to commissioning a ref sheet for the protagonist of "The Pride of Parahumans"

Character Description
One of thousands of "parahumans" created as disposable labor for asteroid mining corporations. After liberation zie obtained a job on an independent prospecting ship but pursued an interest in biology on the side.

World/Setting
In the late 21st century asteroid mining became feasible, however due to the danger involved and legal liability it was difficult to find enough workers. They found a solution by bioprinting transgenic "parahumans". This arrangement lasted a couple decades before a combination of armed rebellion and sympathetic humans led to their freedom.

At the time of "The Pride of Parahumans" the asteroid belt is inhabited by a smattering of different parahuman colonies with different governments and cultures.
Genitals/Reproduction
Zie was part of an experimental group made without genitals or reproductive organs. But zie does still have fingers, a tongue, and an anus. And zie could reproduce by cloning or genetic engineering.
