Kupot's story has never really been cemented. The fact is, I play more of the personality than the story and that's been kind of a problem. He is what I call a 'spite character'. A character made specifically to spite the other people on the MU or group where he is introduced. Often people play 'heroes' who are very eager to kill or solve problems with violence. This is where Kupot is most useful, and he often draws extreme praise or extreme hate.

Kupot was born to a fishing family of moogles. Dull dreary work that the seven sons and daughters don't want to do. So, out on a hill one day, they made a promise to each other. They would each leave to find a great destiny, to become heroes. Kupot, young and excited, left to find a swordmaster. The type of masters generally depends on the setting, sometimes the seven all start together at a Chinese style circus. Sometimes, it is a variety of swordmasters. Kupot is a devoted trainee, becoming a skilled swordsman with long years of training.

In Kupot there burns a fire to be a renowned hero to right wrongs and do great deeds. The masters try to beat it out of him, but it never succeeds until Kupot takes a step too far. Accidentally killing a thief who was stealing for his family. Trying to usurp the destiny of one of the main characters and finding out he is NOT special. Going too deep into territory he cannot possibly fight on his own.

Soon that fire cools, as Kupot struggles to build a crystal prison around it. A facade of discipline and order, Kupot had become more reserved, eager to take the path of non-violence, even if it is not fully just, if only to see fewer lives lost, in fear of taking another life in poor judgment. He is calm, friendly, and polite, trying hard to damp down the fire that burns inside.

Often, the quest then is to find what Kupot truly wishes to fight for.

I sometimes over play his powers a bit, but only because others around him are often so boring. He is a great swordsman, playing up to the Kenshin, Sanger Zonvolt, Samurai Jack, and Frog archetypes, able to cleave through objects and parry with precision. He also often has great strength when it comes to utilizing martial arts against larger targets.
