What motivated Jaklen to be part of a gang that smuggles illegal music is because his favorite town decided to ban his favorite genre. Pretty much saying "no music makes him a dull boy". He got his nickname "The Swinger Spaniel" from his coworkers since he enjoys listening to Electric swing.
