created by a sculptor and gifted artisan, she was gifted life by a goddess. she easily captivates others with her beauty, and has passed from master to master, kept as a form of exotic pet or 'living masterpiece' in their homes in which she is usually never able to leave.

because there is such a risk of her being broken by those jealous of her appearance, or stolen by those who covet her, she is often isolated from others. despite being constantly showered with love, compliments and borderline worship, she isn't vain, but rather, usually feels sad and hollow. she longs to find and feel real value, and sees beauty in things others do not.

she is constantly trying to befriend a fox who had previously been broken and remade in the art of kintsugi, but seems oblivious to the fact he wishes to similarly break her in envy. she wishes she could show him that despite his broken appearance, he is still a beautiful person, but he seems deaf to all but his feelings of hatred, inadequacy and inferiority.
